Hydrangea Plant

Starting at: $89.99

These plants come in two types, Mop Head and Lacecaps, both with two basic needs – cool growing conditions and moist soil. Hydrangea is also known as "blue island" due to a significant number of hydrangea presented on islands such as Faial Island, Portugal and Azores. Hydrangeas are produce in early spring to late autumn.

This type of flower is widely grown for its large and wide flowers. Hydrangea can be seen mostly at the entrance of offices and the main entrance of buildings. In most species the flowers are white, other colors such as blue, red, pink and purple can be found in other species. The color of the flower depends mainly on the PH soil. acidic soils produce blue flowers, neutral soils produce very pale cream petals, and alkaline soils results in pink or purple.

This type of plant requires two basic needs - cool conditions / temperature and manure which is not allowed to dry out.
