Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe Grown for it’s brightly coloured flowers, the Kalanchoe is a decorative succulent plant. Flower colours range from white to brilliant orange. The thick fleshy leaves are a good background for the contrasting bright blooms, but not interesting to keep as a non-flowering plant.

Requires plenty of light An East or West facing window suits this plant best Move to a South facing window in Winter.

Temperature:

Plant does well at sunny room temperature of 60 – 75 degrees It is best discarded before winter.

Watering:

Water sparingly so that leaves do not become wilted and flowering is reduced Let soil surface dry out complete before watering . Clay shards in the bottom of the pot are a good idea to increase drainage. There is no need to mist as this plant is succulent.
